Yes. I know what to blog about this friday night.

Tomorrow is 9 of June 2007. 9 months ago I would have been looking forward to this day. 9 Days ago it dawned to me the date was coming closer. 9 hours later will be the start of the preparation.

It is the 65th batch of officer cadets commissioning parade.

I feel a sense of emptiness.

Awhile back I'll be bitching about it, saying how good it is to escape all this. Little did I know it would have such a big impact on me. I cant seem to do anything now. Commissioning parade was bugging me.


The applause of the spectators when the cadets march in. They laugh when the cadets sang their school song.
They cheered as top cadets recieve their swords of honour. A deafening roar rocked through the grounds when cadets pleged their allegiance to the president and the republic.


"Ladies and gentlemen, I am proud to present, the Officers of the republic!"


It will forever be eitched in my heart. It was that moment, when cadets becomes 2nd Lieutanants. It was an outworldly experience. Even though I was just an usher, I could feel the passion and pride surging forth from them. It just made it look all so worth it.
